A major low-voltage infrastructure upgrade at RAAF Richmond for 176 Squadron.
Electrical scope
- New 1,600 A ACB and surge-protection device within an existing pad-mounted substation, requiring specialist busbar work and engineering
- New 1,600 A LV switchboard with Defence RDMS metering
- New submains and earthing
- New underground conduits and cabling
Project outcome
The outage affected six buildings and was completed in less than eight hours following months of strategic planning.
